Software engineer. And admin of my own infrastructure
I run two real product projects: voice bots that answer phone calls, tying together speech recognition, an LLM and synthesis, plus the telephony, payment and WhatsApp integrations.
Node.js and TypeScript on the backend, React on the frontend, PostgreSQL and AWS.
On my own time I run a Proxmox homelab with about forty services: storage, media, a federated instance and a GPU box for local models. This site comes off that, not a hosting provider.
Built with Nuxt, by hand.

About me
I'm Juan, a software engineer from the Basque Country. I graduated from UPV/EHU in 2024 and have since worked across almost every layer of a real product: from the backend to telephony and payment integrations. I currently lead two projects within the team.
Before that, during my internship, I built an interactive web viewer for 3D models with Three.js, with points of interest embedded in the model itself. That project confirmed what I enjoy most: making things look and feel right in the browser.
Outside work I maintain a homelab with self-hosted services, mod games, and experiment with local LLMs. This site is built with Nuxt and serves both as a showcase and as an excuse to code without deadlines.
